Garments

There are many companies providing garments for support, and for the reduction and maintenance of lymphoedema. Garments can be purchased 'ready-to-fit' or can be specially 'made-to-measure'. There are also many variations to the garments e.g. open/closed toes, grip tops, shoulder caps etc. Some companies now offer a variety of colours on some of their lower limb garments, and there are patterned tights available as well. You will be carefully assessed and a garment chosen in collaboration with yourself. A limited stock is also available on FP10 from your GP. e.g. Sleeves, Gloves/mits, Below knee tights/socks, Thigh length tights/stockings, Pantyhose.
